What Production Operation contributes to Cardinal Health
Operates light-duty bench- or floor-type machine tools and automation equipment. May set up machining machines and make adjustments, and perform maintenance on machines. Checks work using prescribed gauges, jigs and fixtures to measure close tolerances. Some machines may be numerically controlled. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

regularly walking-around the area to maintain awareness of area needs and demonstrate readiness to promptly support, manage and lead as appropriate
advocating and reinforcing adherence to policies and procedures
performing timely and effective training and communication as required and as needed, including at least monthly communication/training forums with assigned employees
ensuring a complete investigation, report, and resolution of all concerns, problems, issues, and needs quickly and fully relevant to safety, quality, production, cost and quality of work life
develop employees to continuously improve, grow, communicate, and internalize area and company goals for safety, quality, schedule, cost, and quality of work life
measuring and promptly reporting performance to goals and needs/concerns to management utilizing production reports as a tool
Participate in conversion of master schedule to daily production schedule
High School Diploma or GED required
A minimum of 2+ years related work experience required
Demonstrated success in managing people and leading a team
Strong communication skills

Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
