Distribution Intern

Responsibilities
Work in conjunction with field locations, distribution, and purchasing to help setup automatic inventory replenishment systems.
Continue work in identifying information for supplies and materials and adding it into a new catalog format.
When necessary, read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and customer traffic.
Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
Wear the proper safety equipment.
Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Follow posted work schedule, and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.
Participate in and contribute to MFA Oil's formalized internship program.
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent
A current student or May graduate of current year, majoring in Agriculture, Business, Logistics or related degree.
Must have computer knowledge and familiar with Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of good workflow principles.
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
Preferred Skills
Ability to meet deadlines with a high degree of time management skills
Able to perform detail work with accuracy and grasp new concepts quickly
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment is essential
Ability to work well with others and at a fast pace
Ability to set priorities and goals and develop plans for achieving them

Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
