Warehouse Driver I

The Warehouse Driver will manage, stock and account for company warehouse inventory. Complete deliveries to plant and customer locations. Use inventory software to maintain accurate records of shipments and deliveries. Maintain safety standards and cleanliness of the warehouse facility.

Responsibilities
Be knowledgeable about all parts, products and services offered by MFA Oil.
Work directly with the Senior Warehouse Manager on products, equipment, product procurement and inventory levels.
Ability to answer questions regarding inventory, shipments, and processes
Maintain good working relationship with all employees.
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Always clean when time allows.
Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Follow posted work schedule, and adhere to proper clocking procedures to accurately reflect hours worked.
Operate vehicle safely, according to policies and guidelines set forth by law or by MFA Oil Company.
Provide feedback regarding route efficiencies and customer needs.
Communicate any issues as they relate to safety or efficiencies to supervisor for both trucks and equipment.
Inspect customer installations assuring safe, dependable operation report any issues to supervisor.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any truck safety issues immediately to supervisor.
Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.
Understand technical documents as related to warehouse and products.
Maintain site standards at the warehouse location.
Receive and stock inventory into proper locations within the warehouse location.
Complete inventory cycle counts at the warehouse location.
Build inventory shipments for delivery to customer and plant locations.
Deliver products to customer and plant locations.
Adhere to all safety standards & procedures at the warehouse location and while driving company vehicle
Make and receive PO's for inventory and non-inventory items
Make transfer orders for product transfers within the company
Maintain high level of customer service.
Notify supervisor of inventory levels based on usage.
Responsible for maintaining truck and equipment in a neat and clean condition.
Know and adhere to company policies and procedures.

Maintain timely and professional communication with management, employees, vendors and customers. Keep supervisor informed of any problems and/or any issues that need attention.

Job Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Class B commercial driver's license with air brake endorsements. MFA Oil hires and employs as drivers to transport materials in interstate deliveries only those drivers who are DOT-qualified, without condition or exemption. Drivers that hold an exemption for DOT qualification will be considered for employment where it is expected that they will only make intrastate deliveries.
Ability to obtain Tanker Endorsement if necessary based on job duties.
Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license
Must be able to safely operate an automatic and manual transmission truck.
Requires physical strength and dexterity to walk, stand, bend, climb, reach, stoop, twist and lift/carry 100 pounds.
Vision, hearing, speech and ability to detect odors are essential.
Job requires contact with hazardous materials, driving and working in adverse weather conditions.
Work scheduled overtime and be available for emergency overtime when the need arises by responding to overtime call outs before and after standard scheduled hours of work.
Must meet DOT and Company requirements, including successful background check, drug test and road test.
Maintain a safe driving record.
Climb step ladder for cleaning purposes and for retrieving items.
Must have computer knowledge and skills and familiar with Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of JD Edwards's programs preferred.
Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language to communicate with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
