Job Description: Technical Requirements: Working Experience on HDS VSP/USPV/HUS/AMS Storage Provisioning , Shadow Image,True Copy, HUR , HDLM, Hi-command Suite,Tuning Manager, HTSM, HDT,HDP, Brocade/CISCO SAN Switches,. Administration & implementation knowledge on HDS Storage and HUR,True Copy, Shadow Image. Possess in-depth knowledge and experience using HDS VSP/USPV,HUS,AMS,HNAS, Replication technologies and Migration services of SAN infrastructure. Good knowledge on multi patching administration of UNIX, Linux (RHEL), Windows, HP OS. Good working knowledge on storage virtualization. Expert skills in Storage Performance fine tuning, Availability, Reporting and Capacity Management. Able to handle and troubleshoot hardware issues on Storage Environment and co-ordinate with multiple team as a single point of contact. Posses good working knowledge of storage analysis, testing, POC, system software, ability to provide root cause analysis to the customer Administration & Troubleshooting skills on HTSM,HDP,HDT, Tuning Manager,Storage Navigator. Disaster recovery infrastructure planning,building,testing and product research/new release evaluation. Storage virtualization and good technical exposure in Virtual Partition Manager in VSP,USP Arrays Good knowledge about the Vendor Best practices for Performance,Availability and security. Responsibilities: Mentoring team members and training them for newer features/technologies Guiding team members in case of Technical/Operational Problems and Issues Reporting to the Track Lead / Team Lead for technical and operational activities Handling tickets/ Incidents Performing root cause analysis for severity 1 issues Planning and Implementing Change Requests Suggesting, Planning/Testing of new technologies and design changes as and when applicable Applying patches/upgrades to maintain security level Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction     Monitoring and maintaining SLA requirements by the team members Suggesting patches/upgrades to maintain security level Troubleshooting technical issues related and handling escalations from the team members Ensuring that the processes are adhered to while working on any problem incident/change request Oversees and is responsible for successful completion of Installation, configuration and migration Improves and maintains customer and employee satisfaction by the way of quality in the day to day tasks Understanding of Multi-Geo support environment and ensuring that the team is in-line to the industry Responsible for building and maintaining test environment Testing/Auditing/Processes as required from time to time Identify Skill Gaps and plan for training and knowledge updating Prepare on-boarding plan for all new members coming to the team for training and KT Soft Skills: Excellent communication and conversation skills (Verbal and Written) Good documentation skills Good working knowledge on MS OFFICE (Including MS Project and Visio) Should have a Enterprise customer handling skills Able to handle unforeseen situations High level of acceptance Can drive client's value and its methodology Other Skills / Experience: Should be worked on Production systems Datacenter understanding Experience in training new team members Working Knowledge on Remedy or any other ticketing client Experience in training new team members Should be familiar with ITIL processes Experience with Storage Migration, Installation, Upgrades and Patching Other Storage skill set will be an Added advantage. Years of Experience: Total: 6-10 Years of relevant IT experience Relevant: Minimum of 5-8 yrs in HDS Storage Administration / Support Certification requirements: Must have "HDS Storage certified Professional" certificate. Must have ITIL foundation certified certification.
